1. The Service

• Free converter: converts a STEP file to GLB directly in your browser. Your STEP file is never sent to our servers.
• Temporary view (24 h): with your explicit consent, the converted GLB is uploaded to our servers and made available through a 6-digit code, then automatically deleted after about 24 hours.
• YSD Pro (paid subscription): permanent model library, share links for your clients (optional password and expiry), viewing analytics, and AR/VR viewing.

The Service is a visualization tool. Converted models may differ from the source file (tessellation, colours, units): they do not replace reference drawings and files for manufacturing or technical approval.

2. YSD Pro account

• You must provide an accurate name and email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• An account is personal and intended for professional use; you must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
• Notify us promptly at info@philiprivard.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Pricing, taxes and billing

• Monthly price in Canadian dollars: $29.00 per month. The first 20 subscribers get the founder price of $19.00 per month, kept for as long as the account exists, including after cancelling and reactivating.
• Sales taxes are added based on the billing province you declare (GST/QST, HST or GST). No Canadian tax is charged outside Canada. The tax-included total is shown before payment.
• Payment is processed by PayPal (PayPal account or card). We never receive or store your card numbers.
• A receipt showing our tax registration numbers (GST 85221 2885 RT0002 · QST 1050577551) is available on your Account page after each payment.
• Any price change will be announced by email at least 30 days before it takes effect; you may cancel at no charge before that date.

4. Renewal and cancellation

• The subscription renews automatically every month until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time, at no charge, from the Account page or from your PayPal account. Cancelling stops future payments; you keep full access until the end of the period already paid.
• Partial months are not refunded pro rata, subject to any rights granted to you by applicable law.
• You can reactivate at any time from the Plans page.

5. Failed payment, frozen account and deletion

• If a payment fails or the subscription ends, the account becomes read-only at the end of the paid period: you can still view and download your models, but your clients’ share links stop working and you can no longer add models.
• Models of an account frozen for more than 30 days may be permanently deleted, after at least 7 days’ notice by email. Reactivating before then restores everything.
• You may ask us to close your account and delete your models at any time at info@philiprivard.com.

6. Your models and intellectual property

• You keep ownership of your files and models. You only grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to host, convert, generate thumbnails of and display them to the people you authorize, solely to provide the Service.
• We do not use your models for any other purpose (no resale, no advertising, no training of artificial intelligence models) and do not look at them, except at your request for technical support or when required by law.
• You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to every model you upload or share, including with respect to your clients and their confidentiality agreements.
• Anyone holding a temporary view code or a share link without a password can view the model. Protect sensitive models with a password and an expiry date, and revoke links you no longer need.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• host or distribute illegal content, or a model you do not have the rights to;
• bypass technical limits, quotas or security measures, or attempt to access other people’s data;
• overload the Service (mass automated uploads, bots) or use it as general file hosting;
• resell or give third parties access to your account.

We may suspend a code, link or account that breaches these rules. Except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise, we will notify you and give you a chance to fix the situation.

8. Service limits

• YSD Pro: up to 50 models and 100 MB per GLB file. These limits may change; any reduction will be announced in advance.
• The converter depends on your computer and browser; some very large files may not convert.
• Augmented and virtual reality depend on your device and browser compatibility.

9. Availability and backups

We take reasonable measures to keep the Service available and your files safe (storage with version history), but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Always keep your source files and a copy of your important models.

10. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, contracts or data). Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act or any other mandatory law, nor our liability for intentional or gross fault.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For any material change, subscribers are notified by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not accept the change, you may cancel your subscription at no charge before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts of the judicial district of Montreal have jurisdiction. If the French and English versions differ, the French version prevails.
